My Mestric Universal Guitar Neck Jig not only allows me to be able to mount different spec bolt-on necks due to it’s adjustable neck pocket, but I can also change out different bridges with a removable caddy system. For example, there is about a 4mm string spacing difference between a modern and vintage spec Strat bridge. This means I can get the correct string spacing for each neck as I put it through the PLEK. In conjunction with Tony (bandaguitars ) we did our first backstrap repair on a Gibson Les Paul. Typically, gluing is sufficient, but this was a second break on this one so regluing wasn’t an option. Thanks to ianhatesguitars for the awesome YouTube tutorial on how to make this successful! Meanwhile, in the shop on a Saturday night...
Benjamin`s Warmoth fretless Strat build. Hardtail mahogany Strat body in candy purple, quartersawn fatback fretless neck with ebony board (no dots, no lines, no side dots), Hipshot bridge, Gotoh tuners, Seymour Duncan Invader, and sustainer system. Tuned CFBbEbAbDb. Fretboard leveled with the PLEK machine, bone nut, set up stupid low. INFINITE SUSTAIN! (Or, at least until the battery runs out.) Radical!

Getting Plek’d
This was my first “nice” guitar. A prsguitars McCarty with rosewood neck.
Years ago, I made a couple small improvements with the help of ian_pender
We updated the ‘03 McCarty pick-ups to 57/08 pickups which made a huge difference.
And secondly upgraded to the intonatable bridge.
This guitar has sentimental value. And still sounds and plays great.
After the Plek scan, we identified a slight neck twist and some high frets which were giving me some fret buzz. Looking forward to playing it again post Plek!

here are a few more details about florian_bady Reh custom double cut
old stock mahogany with an old stock maple top. Equipped with arcane.inc brownbuckers. The whole thing is finished with a thin black matte nitro coating.
